BLACK BOYS CODE CLOSING RACIAL DIVIDE IN STEM

Black Boys Code, a national organization that introduces young black boys to coding, is making major strides towards closing the racial divide in the computer science field.

The organization hosts computer science and STEM-related events for boys between the ages of eight and 17, including one-day and two-day workshops, hackathons, after-school and summer programs.

Black Boys Code, une organisation à but non lucratif qui introduit les jeunes garçons noirs au codage et à la programmation, et fait des progrès importants vers la fin de la fracture raciale dans le domaine de l’informatique.

L’association organise des activités autour de l’informatique et des STEM pour les garçons âgés de 8 à 17 ans, y compris des ateliers d’une journée ou deux, des challenges d’hacking, et des programmes parascolaires et pendant l’été.
