About this workshop

Over the past several months, students in our Robotics and Artificial Intelligence tracks have explored coding, machine learning, robotics, problem-solving, and innovation through hands-on technology projects. Now it’s time to transform those ideas into showcase-ready presentations.

Idea to Reality: Project Showcase Prep is a special workshop designed to help students prepare for our annual Show & Tell Grand Finale on Saturday, July 25, 2026. Whether you have been building robots, developing AI-powered applications, creating games, designing chatbots, or working on any technology project, this workshop will help you refine your work and confidently share it with others.

Students are encouraged to prepare a short technology-based presentation on any topic related to coding, robotics, artificial intelligence, innovation, engineering, app development, or creative problem-solving. There are no restrictions, just bring your creativity, passion, and ideas!

This workshop is for all students, regardless of whether you are participating in the Robotics Track or the Artificial Intelligence Track. The focus is not only on building great technology but also on developing the communication and presentation skills needed to share your ideas with the world.

Project Showcase Preparation: Students will organize their projects into engaging presentations that clearly explain the problem, solution, technology used, and impact of their work.

Practice Presentations: Participants will present their projects to peers and instructors in a supportive environment designed to build confidence and improve delivery.

Feedback and Improvement: Students will receive constructive feedback on both their technical projects and presentation skills, helping them strengthen their final showcase.

Technical Rehearsals: Participants will test their demonstrations, presentations, robots, applications, or AI projects to ensure everything runs smoothly before the final event.

Communication and Storytelling Skills: Students will learn how to tell the story behind their project, communicate complex ideas clearly, and engage an audience effectively.

By the end of this workshop, students will:

Gain valuable experience showcasing innovation and creativity

Develop confidence speaking in front of an audience

Learn how to present technical projects in a clear and engaging way

Improve storytelling and communication skills

Refine their robotics or AI projects based on feedback

Prepare for real-world presentations, interviews, competitions, and future leadership opportunities
